User Centered Design

The user-centered design process (UCD) forms the basis for intuitive digital products. In our 2-day masterclass, you will learn about all phases of the UCD according to DIN ISO 9241-210 and gain practical insights from real projects – from consumer to industry to medical.
What you will learn: The basics of usability and user experience, psychological basics of user research, creation of UI concepts based on user requirements as well as user- and expert-based evaluation methods. You will also learn how the user-centered approach can be integrated into company processes.
Just right if you have had little contact with user-centered design, want to understand why UX is more than just pretty colors and icons, and want to learn how to take the user perspective and apply design principles.
Journey Mapping Kickstart

The 1-day classroom training gives you a comprehensive understanding of journey mapping. You will learn hands-on how to analyse and visualize the entire user and customer journey and what role the method plays in the UX process.
What you will take away: A step-by-step approach to journey mapping, enrichment through user research (touchpoints, personas), practical tips for workshop planning and implementation as well as the derivation of specific requirements and solution approaches. You will also learn how journey maps help to identify pain points and develop targeted optimizations.

The 1-day classroom training offers a comprehensive introduction to the design and optimization of user interfaces. It covers design and psychological backgrounds and provides practical knowledge of the most important principles of interaction and interface design.
What you’ll take away: A deeper understanding of design and psychological principles, established UI principles and heuristics, clarification of common myths in UI design as well as basics on design patterns, navigation and layout. You will also design specific examples such as forms, dashboards and wizards yourself.
Just right if you are interested in the design and optimization of user interfaces, want to get a deeper understanding of the theoretical basics, don’t know exactly how to get started with a new UI design or want to know where to get inspiration.
